🌈 There’s an Inuit legend about 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲...Once a great warrior found a crystal along the coast of Labrador, and rammed his spear into it releasing the lights that are now the 𝗔𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀, but the warrior couldn’t release of all the lights and so some remained imprisoned in the rocks.
⛏️ Labradorite got its name when discovered by Moravian missionaries in 1770 on Paul Island in Labrador, Canada.
💙 It’s since been found in other places, but the most impressive pieces with the most rainbow of color and best blues are coming from Madagascar and Finland.
